Series 1 and 2

Ten episodes completed to date. A coproduction with the Department of Education, Queensland. Educational series for school use and television release on Australia's major ecosystems. Purchased by the ABC, and currently distributed to schools throughout Australia.


"ON THE EDGE" ('THEME PARK' SCREEN PRESENTATION) 1994. 15 minutes.
Video production for Underwater World, Mooloolaba, Queensland. Program about the importance of Wetlands & Mangroves.


"THE URBAN KOALA" (EDUCATIONAL PROMOTIONAL VIDEO). 1994
An initiative of Gulliver Films, produced for use in schools and by the Brisbane City Council in its koala conservation work.


"RAINE ISLAND - OASIS OF THE CORAL SEA" 199O. 11.5 minutes.
'Corporate' produced for the Department of Environment, Queensland.


"THE BUSH NEXT DOOR" 1991. 20 minutes.
Commissioned jointly by the Brisbane City Council and Greening Australia, this video is widely used by urban regenerators, and local government authorities and is distributed to Queensland schools by the Education Department.


"SHARING A DREAM". 1988
Commercial-hour documentary set in the Lamington National Park area. A look at a wildlife photographer and a gentle argument for the preservation of all rainforests. Sales to the BBC, Australian Television Network, The Discovery Network USA, Sweden, Norway, Finland.


"KOALAS OUT ON A LIMB" 1984
Commercial-hour documentary on the status of the koala. Sales to the Australian Seven Network, BBC, National Geographic (Explorer), Japan. An unusual marketing feature has been two separate sales in the USA to different channels. FESTIVALS: Short listed in the American Film Festival.


CHINA CO-PRODUCTION 1988
Gulliver initiated a coproduction with the Beijing Science and Educational Film Studio. The production "INSPIRATION FROM AUSTRALIA" shot totally in Australia over three months and has been released to cinemas throughout China.


"A GLASS OF WATER." 1993
A twenty minute video for general public and school use. A coproduction with the Department of Education Queensland the video also has editorial and financial input from the Brisbane City Council, the Department of Natural Resources and a national educational video distributor. An educational broadcasting sale to the ABC (CHED).


TOKYO FUKUHARA FILM COMPANY. 1992
Director/Cinematographer. Gulliver was the production coordinator for 2 video productions on Australian wildlife for "in-house" use in one of Japan's leading municipal zoological parks.


"COMMUNITIES". For the Queensland Education Department. Three 20 minute videos which look at different types of communities: - rural, suburban and a mining town.
